Josephine Dolce, Soprano, is a musical artist whose vocal repertoire extends from opera to extensive Broadway and Continental venues. She received a four-year scholarship from the Juilliard School of Music, where she studied with voice teacher Florence Paige Kimball, and continued on to become a finalist of the Metropolitan Opera under the capable coaching of Alberta Masiello of the Metropolitan opera. Ms. Dolce continued her dramatic studies with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has performed numerous leading roles with the Stamford Opera Company of Stamford, CT, the New York Grand Opera in NYC, the Brooklyn Opera in Brooklyn, NY, and the Queens Opera in Queens, NY.
Ms. Dolce has performed at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Recital Hall, both in NYC, as well as numerous colleges and universities throughout the mid-west. She has continued her vocal career with Il Circolo and the Governors Club, both of Palm Beach. In 1994, she began singing with the Stockbridge Summer Series in Lenox, MA – a tradition that she continues to this day. Besides her singing career, Ms. Dolce is also an accomplished organist, and has been a church organist for the Brooklyn Dioceses in NY.
